Prototype & Mold Trial Support
Introduction: The first mold trial is not simply about producing a part. It is used to check mold movement, molding behavior, appearance, dimensions, and assembly. Material, sample quantity, critical checks, and the customer's approval method should be agreed before the trial.
Scope of support:
· Pre-trial review of tooling and project data
· Recording of trial conditions and sample identification
· Summary of cosmetic, dimensional, and assembly issues
· Communication of issue location, impact, and proposed corrections
· Tracking of revisions and closure status after modification
Information required: Approved drawings, material, color, cosmetic criteria, critical dimensions, mating parts or assembly requirements, sample quantity, and reporting needs.
Delivery note: Trial rounds, sample quantity, report format, and shipping method should be included in the agreed scope.
